Nowadays water scarcity represents a threat for human and living beings. Therefore, to satisfy the demands of people clean safe water, new technologies wastewater treatment have been developed. Thus, photocatalysis has emerged as green chemical approach such treatment. In this context, polyoxometalate (POM)/polymer composites with relevant photocatalytic properties developed via an easy cheap photopolymerization process upon mild visible light irradiation at 405?nm. This fruitful association between POM polymer allowed obtention shaped materials facile collect reuse end avoiding then usual time-consuming regeneration methods. The prepared photocomposites displayed excellent performance removal bisphenol-A from under different sources irradiation. Hence, 100%, 88%, 50% model compound were decomposed by phosphomolybdic composite just 90?min UV lamp, solar LED@375?nm irradiations, respectively. effectiveness these photocatalysts towards degradation other organic compounds, well mechanism based on generation highly reactive chemicals •OH radicals promoting already reported. Bisphenol-A pathway identification photoproducts discussed using mass spectroscopy technique. paper highlighted efficiency manufactured photodegradation bisphenol-A, thus expanding their application fields, pure which make applications more interesting less energy consuming.
